CBR Inc.’s CNC Multitasking center is simply the best of both worlds. It utilizes a standard lathe with the addition of standard milling options. The turning center is used to remove material to achieve rotational symmetry, while the milling function adds the function of multiple machines like milling, drilling, taping, boring and finishing a part. This equipment allows us to manufacture a part which used to use as many as four steps in a single station. This option allows us to greatly increase productivity virtually eliminating non-value added time.

CBR Industries is a ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer specializing in machining components for the communication, electronic and frequency control industries. We specialize in machining chassis, ovens, crystal holders, oscillator and microwave housings, and other small components. We use state-of-the-art CNC machining centers and sophisticated CAD/CAM software to deliver high quality precision parts. We machine a wide variety of material. However, we specialize in machining nonferrous and plastic materials including but not limited to, aluminum, copper, acetyl, polyphenylene sulfide, UHMW, and nylon. Whether the job requires a few or several thousand parts, CBR Industries offers quick turn around and JIT delivery.
